MADRA Incorporation - February 2021

Dear MADRA Members,

We are pleased to announce that our applications to the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission and the Australian Taxation Office for incorporation, charitable and deductible gift recipient status has finally been approved.

Our registration as an Incorporated Association is back-dated to 1st October 2020.

This means:

1. We are now a legal entity and able to receive tax free donations to be used in conjunction with our rules.

2. All those 777 current MADRA members will automatically become members of MADRA Inc.

3. They will be entered on the register of members with effect from 1st January 2021, and have all the rights of members under the Rules.

4. A copy of MADRA Inc. Rules of Association is available by request from the Secretary.

5. The Secretary of MADRA Inc. is Trindi Suratman. She may be contacted through email:

6. Any member of MADRA who does not wish to become a member of MADRA Inc. may notify the Secretary of that wish.

We are working hard to progress our recovery and looking forward to building on a solid start throughout the coming year.
