MADRA December 2023 News
Merry Christmas from MADRA!
The MADRA committee would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and a peaceful and joyous holiday season.
The MADRA committee will be taking a break over January and will reconvene in early February. Our admin support staff will also be taking annual leave during January, so please be aware we will be slower to respond to emails until we are all back on deck in February.
New committee members
MADRA is delighted to announce that Justin Hede and Patsy O’Grady have now joined the MADRA committee along with our other new member, Pip Masters. They all bring a lot of skills and experience to the team and we look forward to working together over the year ahead.
Emergency Preparedness Day
Take Two! Don’t forget that the (rescheduled) Emergency Preparedness Day is being held on Saturday 16 December at 10.30am – 2.30pm in the Lions Park .
Come along and chat with local emergency services workers and community organisations and gather more information on being fire-ready this summer while enjoying some food, music and fun family activities.
In addition, there are some very good preparation and planning resources available that we recommend you make use of, such as the Red Cross ‘Get Packing’ document (click HERE to download) and the RediPlan booklet that was distributed earlier this year.
Thanks,
MADRA
